It is really hard to tell which animal is the most poisonous in the world. The one that has the most toxic chemicals? The one that kills the biggest amount of people a year? Or maybe the one with the biggest amount of poison?

First of all, I have to admit that the title is a bit incorrect, because there is a difference between poisonous and venomous animals. A poisonous animal carries harmful chemicals called toxins primarily used for self defense. Therefore venomous animals deliver their toxins by stinging, stabbing, or biting. So poisonous animals are passive killers, while venomous animals are active killers.

Nevertheless, theory aside, they are all really dangerous. So look really closely at each photo, cause next time you meet them can be the last thing you ever see.

1. Box Jellyfish

The top prize for “The World Most Venomous Animal,” would go to the Box Jellyfish. It has caused at least 5,567 recorded deaths since 1954. Their venom is among the most deadly in the world. It’s toxins attack the heart, nervous system, and skin cells. And the worst part of it is that jelly box venom is so overpoweringly painful, that human victims go in shock, drown or die of heart failure before even reaching shore. Survivors experience pain weeks after the contact with box jellies.

You have virtually no chance to survive the venomous sting, unless treated immediately. After a sting, vinegar should be applied for a minimum of 30 seconds. Vinegar has acetic acid, which disables the box jelly’s nematocysts that have not yet discharged into the bloodstream (though it will not alleviate the pain). Wearing panty hose while swimming is also a good prevention measure since it can prevent jellies from being able to harm your legs.

Jelly box can be found in the waters around Asia and Australia.

2. King Cobra

The King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is the world’s longest venomous snake – growing up to 5.6 m (18.5 ft) in length. Ophiophagus, literally means “snake-eater” as it eats other snakes. One single bite of this deadly snake can easily kill a human. This snake is even capable of killing a full-grown Asian Elephant within 3 hours if the larger animal is bitten in a vulnerable area such as the trunk.

It’s venom is not as toxic as other venomous snakes, but King Cobra is capable of injecting 5 times more venom than black mamba and can result in mortality up to 5 times faster than that of the black mamba. It is quite widespread, ranging across South and South-east Asia, living in dense highland forests.

3. Marbled Cone Snail

This little beautiful looking Marbled Cone snail can be as deadly as any other animal on this list. One drop of its venom is so powerful that it can kill more than 20 humans. If you ever happen to be in warm salt water environment (where these snails are often found) and see it, don’t even think of picking it up. Of course, the true purpose of its venom is to catch its prey.

Symptoms of a cone snail sting can start immediately or can be delayed in onset for days. It results in intense pain, swelling, numbness and tingling. Severe cases involve muscle paralysis, vision changes and breathing failure. There is no antivenom. However, only about 30 human deaths have been recorded from cone snail envenomation.

4. Blue-Ringed Octopus

The Blue-Ringed Octopus is very small, only the size of a golf ball, but its venom is so powerful that can kill a human. Actually it carries enough poison to kill 26 adult humans within minutes, and there is no antidote. They are currently recognized as one of the world’s most venomous animals.

Its painless bite may seem harmless, but the deadly neurotoxins begin working immediately resulting in muscular weakness, numbness, followed by a cessation and breathing and ultimately death.

They can be found in tide pools in the Pacific Ocean, from Japan to Australia.

5. Death Stalker Scorpion

Contrarily to the popular belief most of the scorpions are relatively harmless to humans as stings produce only local effects (pain, numbness or swelling). However, the Death Starker Scorpion is highly dangerous species because its venom is a powerful cocktail of neurotoxins which causes an intense and unbearable pain, then fever, followed by coma, convulsions, paralysis and death. Fortunately, while a sting from this scorpion is extremely painful, it would be unlikely to kill a healthy, adult human. Young children, the old, or infirm (with a heart condition) are at the biggest risk.

Death stalker scorpions are spread in North Africa and Middle East.

6. Stonefish

Maybe Stonefish would never win a beauty contest, but it would definitely win the top prize for being “The World Most Venomous Fish”. Its venom causes such a severe pain that the victims of its sting want the affected limb to be amputated. It is described as the worst pain known to man. It is accompanied with possible shock, paralysis, and tissue death. If not given medical attention within a couple of hours It can be fatal to humans.

Stonefish stores its toxins in gruesome-looking spines that are designed to hurt would-be predators.

Stonefish mostly live above the tropic of Capricorn, often found in the shallow tropical marine waters of the Pacific and Indian oceans, ranging from the Red Sea to the Queensland Great Barrier Reef.

7. The Brazilian wandering spider

The Brazilian Wandering Spider (Phoneutria) or banana spider appears in the Guinness Book of World Records 2007 for the most venomous spider and is the spider responsible for most human deaths.

This spider is believed to have the most potent neurotoxic venom of any living spider. Only 0.006mg (0.00000021oz) is sufficient to kill a mouse. They are also so dangerous because of their wandering nature. They often hide during daytime in highly populated areas inside houses, clothes, boots, and cars.

Its venomous bite causes not only intense pain, the venom of the spider can also cause priapism – uncomfortable erections lasting for many hours that lead to impotence.

8. Inland Taipan

The prize for “The World’s Most Venomous Snake” goes to the Inland Taipan of Australia. Just a single bite from this snake contains enough venom to kill 100 human adults or an army of 250,000 mice. Its venom is at least 200 – 400 times more toxic than a common cobra. The Inland Taiwan’s extremely neurotoxic venom can kill an adult human in as little as 45 minutes. Fortunately this snake is very shy and there have been no documented human fatalities (all known bites were treated with antivenin).

9. Poison Dart Frog

If you ever happen to be running through the rain forests somewhere in Central or South America, do not ever pick up beautiful and colorful frogs – it can be the Poison Dart Frog. This frog is probably the most poisonous animal on earth. The 2 inch long (5cm) golden poison dart frog has enough venom to kill 10 adult humans or 20,000 mice. Only 2 micrograms of this lethal toxin (the amount that fits on the head of a pin) is capable of killing a human or other large mammal. They are called “dart frogs” because indigenous Amerindians’ use of their toxic secretions to poison the tips of their blow-darts. Poison dart frogs keep their poison in their skins and will sicken or kill anybody who touches or eats it.

10. Puffer Fish

Puffer Fish are the second most poisonous vertebrate on earth (the first one is golden dart Frog). The meat of some species is a delicacy in both Japan (as fugu) and Korea (as bok-uh) but the problem is that the skin and certain organs of many puffer fish are very poisonous to humans.

This puffy fish produce rapid and violent death..Puffer’s poisoning causes deadening of the tongue and lips, dizziness, vomiting, rapid heart rate, difficulty breathing, and muscle paralysis. Victims die from suffocation as diaphragm muscles are paralyzed. Most of the victims die after four to 24 hours. There is no known antidote, Most deaths from fugu happen when untrained people catch and prepare the fish.

Statistics show that there were 20 to 44 incidents of fugu poisoning per year between 1996 and 2006 in all of Japan and up to six incidents per year led to death. Since Fugu’s poison can cause near instantaneous death, only licensed chefs are allowed to prepare it.

Do you know where is the most deadliest prison in the world?? here is the list of the World most deadliest prison.

Bang Kwang Prison : (Thailand)- Known as the “Bangkok Hilton”, Bang Kwang is understaffed, overcrowded, and filled with inmates who struggle with insanity as they spend the first months of their sentences chained in leg irons. The Thai culture doesn’t believe in coddling prisoners, and, in the words of Director of Prison Khun Nattee, “Thai prisons are tough…you don’t want to be in Bang Kwang.” Poor medical care is standard at this prison, with sick inmates shackled to their beds as they wait for medicines they probably will never get. If you find yourself on Death Row at Bangkwang, you will have leg irons welded on until your execution, and you will be given only two hours notice before dying by lethal injection.

Carandiru Prison : (Brazil) – The body count was sky-high at this notorious Brazilian prison, where riots in 1992 triggered a massacre of the general population by local police: inmates, who had already given in and surrendered to police, were shot as they cowered in terror in their tiny cells. Deaths at this facility are thought to be as many as 1300 over its 46 year history: the reign of terror by prison officials was stopped in 2002 when the prison was closed, amidst campaigns from Amnesty International, and reports of gross human rights violations that could not be quieted by Brazilian officials. The violence wasn’t the only thing threatening the unfortunate residents of this dark place: an AIDS epidemic at the facility spread rapidly, with as many as one in five of the inmates suffering from the disease.

ADX Florence Supermax Prison : (Colorado) – This prison was built in response to the violent attacks on guards and prison staff at other US prisons – it was meant to be the ultimate deterrent, a place where inmates were completely isolated from prison staff, and left to live in slow psychological torture as they spent 23 hours a day in barren cells. Inmates at ADX are the worst of the worst, often repeat offenders who have killed or injured other inmates, or even prison guards, during their time in other institutions. Describes by inmates as a nightmare vision of punishment, “meant to inflict misery and pain”, this “clean version of hell” is also a violent place, despite all the steps taken to segregate and isolate the general population. In its 13 years of operation, two prisoners have been killed at ADX Florence. Another prisoner, named Lawrence Klaker, was shot and injured as he entered the Supermax prison for the first time: he later killed himself within prison walls.

Alcatraz Island Prison : (San Francisco, CA) – This prison, known as “The Rock”, or “Devil’s Island” was built to house the criminals of the 1920’s, who broke laws during the times of Prohibition leading into the Great Depression. Another study in stark, soul-destroying discomfort and isolation, Alcatraz was known for its unique design, which made escape almost unthinkable. Inmates had no contact with the world outside the prison gates, and suffered harsh discipline from prison officials, as well as an inhumane policy of “silence” that forced prisoners to forgo speech for long periods of time. As can be expected, this was no boon to mental health, and many inmates went insane as they were forced to endure the stringent conditions of the prison without any conversation or other release of their emotions. The prison was shut down in 1963, but its grim legacy lives on, in film and legend.

San Quentin Prison : (San Quentin, California) – In the 1930’s, San Quentin was rife with corruption by management, until a new director, Clinton Truman Duffy, appalled at the inhumane conditions at the prison, decided to implement reforms in the 1940’s. Prior to his appointment, prisoners made counterfeit currency in the prison shops, had their heads shaved and were forced to wear numbered uniforms, while eating out of pails and enduring solitary confinement in poured-concrete cells that had little air and no light. Even a petty offense to prison regulations would land an inmate in solitary, and race riots would put inmate lives at risk on a regular basis. San Quentin is still a harsh environment, filled with California’s most violent offenders, and the high ratio of guards to general population, just barely keeps the prison system from spiraling out of control.

Diyarbakr Prison : (Turkey) – This prison has been cited for its human right violations, which are thought to cross the line into true atrocity. From 1981 to 1984, 34 prisoners lost their lives due to the excessive instances of torture, both mental and physical, practiced at Diyarbakir. This prison is notorious for the sexual abuse of its inmates, and its unlivable conditions. Prisoners have attempted hunger strikes, set themselves on fire in protest of prison conditions, and committed suicide in order to escape the horrors of this Turkish facility. Diyarbakir is known to incarcerate mere children for sentences of life imprisonment, and its “crimes against humanity” make it one of the word’s most sadistic and forbidding penal institutions.

La Sabaneta Prison : (Venezuela) – Venezuela is known for its brutal prisons, where violence is a daily occurrence, and inmates are at the mercy of disease outbreaks, underpaid staff, little medical services, and insufficient food and care. La Sabaneta is the worst of the worst, a place where cholera outbreaks have wiped out 700 inmates, amidst “appalling violence” and riots that triggered a horrific massacre of 100 inmates back in 1994. Death is rampant at La Sabaneta, and the hair-trigger tempers of inmates and staff are thought to be linked to idleness and boredom, as no activities are permitted to release tension: left to their own devices, prisoners fight amongst themselves, fashion shivs and other deadly weapons, and kill one another in this truly archaic penal facility.

La Sante Prison : (Paris, France) – According to whistle-blower and former prison official Veronique Vasseur, this prison was a hellhole, where prisoners were forced to live out their sentences in concrete cells full of rats and lice. Inmates were prone to lose their sanity as they dealt with the harsh daily realities of life at La Sante – which translates, ironically, to “health” in the English language. The well being of inmates was very low on the list of priorities for the French administrators of this torture chamber on a grand scale: weaker inmates were routinely enslaved by stronger ones, and rapes were a daily event at the prison. Suicide was rampant at la Sante, with a staggering 122 self-inflicted deaths of prisoners in 2002, and 73 more by mid 2003. The tendency to suicide could be linked to the terrible living conditions that plunged inmates into clinical depression: overcrowding, understaffing, and prison violence led these people to swallow drain cleaner in order to end their suffering once and for all.

Rikers Island Prison : (Rikers Island, New York) – Stabbings, beatings and brutal treatment from prison guards characterize this American prison. Filled primarily with offenders who are visible minorities, jailed on drug offenses, the prison is a hotbed of violence and aggression. In 2007, prisoner Charles Afflic was beaten senseless with a billy club by a prison official, who hit him repeatedly from behind: his injuries were so severe they necessitated brain surgery. 6 inmates committed suicide, hanging themselves with bedsheets in their cells, during the first six months of 2003 alone. Rikers has a reputation for its cruel treatment of mentally ill prisoners, who often turn to suicide in lieu of treatment and understanding.

Tadmor Prison : (Syria) – The death count may not rank Tadmor Prison as number one on this list, but no other prison sent such shivers down my spine as I did my research. The violence at Tadmor is so gruesome and utterly merciless, I felt sick reading about it. Described as a “kingdom of death and madness” by a former detainee, Tadmor features bloodthirsty guards who butcher inmates with axes, and political prisoners (read: non violent protestors) who are starved to concentration camp emaciation by prison administrators. In 1980, after an assassination attempt on the President (in Damascus), inmates were made to pay the ultimate price as commandos landed at Tadmor in helicopters, and butchered as many as 500 prisoners in their cells: this “warning: sent a clear message to Syrians about staying in line. When guards are not busy tying up inmates and dragging them to death, they can be found chopping up body parts in one of the prison’s several courtyards.

After talking about the Tallest woman in the history and the greatest woman in the hostory, now we got another woman stuff again here on World Must be Crazy.. we will take you to World most dangerous woman!!

Female criminals have captured headlines and imaginations since there were newspapers and people to say “holy crap, a woman did that?”

Not all the women on this list are necessarily criminals, but they are all dangerous in one form or another. They’ve written manifestos, murdered, maimed, run organized criminal operations, influenced hearts and minds, and even kicked a whole lot of ass.

So without further ado, here are 10 Truly Dangerous Women…!!

01.Aileen Wuornos, a Real Female Serial Killer :-

<img class="size-full wp-image-1203" title="Aileen Carol" src="http://worldmustbecrazy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Aileen.jpg" alt="Aileen Carol Wuornos of Daytona Beach, Fla., makes her first appearance before a judge at Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach, Fla., Thursday, Jan. 17, 1991.
When it comes to dangerous women, there are few more terrifying than Aileen Wuornos, the best-known American serial killer.

Wuornos, whose story was made into the Hollywood movie “Monster,” lived a life seemingly made to create a killer. The closest thing Wuornos ever got to a break was when her father was convicted of raping a 7-year-old girl. It was a break because he never had a chance to meet, and presumably screw up, his infant daughter. When she was 4, Wuornos and her brother were abandoned by their mother in 1960, leaving them to be raised by their maternal grandparents.

02.The Manson Family Women :-

In 1969, through the power of a Svengali-like influence, Charles Manson turned 5 attractive, intelligent young women into vicious criminals.

Sandra Good, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, and Patricia “Katie” Krenwinkel will forever be known as the Manson Women.

03.Sandra Avila Beltran, the Drug Queen of the Pacific :-

What does it take to be a truly dangerous woman? Consider Sandra Avila Beltran, who combines a stomach for violence with the power and influence that comes with being a beautiful woman working in a man’s field.

Beltran is a massively successful drug cartel leader known in Mexico as a sort of folk hero. They call her “La Reina del Pacífico” (the Queen of the Pacific) for becoming the only woman to rise to prominence in Mexico’s violent drug trade. There’s even a song written in her honor — a folk ballad that describes her as “a top lady who is a key part of the business.”

In 2001, authorities busted up a shipment of 9 tons of cocaine. The trail led back to Beltran’s lover at the time, Juan Diego Espinoza Ramirez, a drug trafficker known as “El Tigre” and wanted by the United States.

04.Ulrike Marie Meinhof, Militant German Activist :-

Bank robberies, bombings and the formation of the German militant group Red Army Faction (RAF) made Ulrike Marie Meinhof one dangerous lady.

Known alternately as a terrorist and a folk hero, there is no question that Meinhof and the RAF were outright criminals. The left-wing members considered themselves communist urban guerillas, and organized in response to what they saw as a reluctance to deNazify conservative West German society.

But even if you agree with her political views, it’s hard to get behind Meinhof’s actions. After working as a journalist sympathetic to the various socialist and communist student movements emerging in Germany in the late ’60s, Meinhof decided it was time to participate. With the help of an armed accomplice, Meinhof helped RAF co-founder Andreas Baader escape from prison. In the process, a 64-year-old librarian was shot, but survived — the first victim of the Baader Meinhof Gang.

05.Marylin the Colombian Assassin :-

The story of photo journalist Jason P. Howe serves as a grim reminder that there’s nothing sexy about a life of murder for hire.

While working on a project in Colombia, Howe befriended a beautiful young girl named Marylin. With friends on all three sides of the complicated conflict between the government military, the Farc rebels and the AUC paramilitaries, she helped Howe navigate a dangerous world where one misstep meant a gruesome death.

06.Aafia Siddiqui, the Highest Ranked Woman in al-Qaeda :-

Without a doubt, the case of Aafia Siddiqui is the strangest and most confusing story in this list.

According to the FBI, Siddiqui was arrested with suspicious items on her person July 17, 2008, in Ghazni, Afghanistan. While being held, Siddiqui is accused of picking up an unsecured rifle and firing at a soldier working with the FBI team. She failed to hit anyone before she was disarmed and shot twice in the abdomen.

Upon her arrest, Siddiqui was called “the most important catch in five years,” by former CIA terrorist hunter John Kiriakou.

07.Valerie Solanas, Seriously Hates Men :-

No one else in history has ever proposed a genocide as widespread and sweeping as Valerie Solanas did in her SCUM Manifesto. In 1968, Solanas proposed in her manifesto that every single male in the world should be killed. And Andy Warhol was almost her first victim.

Advocating a new all-female world order, Solanas believed that men were a plague to be wiped out. Oh and SCUM? That stands for Society for Cutting Up Men. To be fair, Solanas had never had an easy time with men. She claimed that she was sexually abused by her father. She never got along with her stepfather. And when her mother sent her to live with her grandfather at 13, things got so bad she was kicked out and rendered homeless by 15.

08.Anne Grigg-Booth, Angel of Mercy :-

Few people ever get as close to you as a nurse does. With notoriously heavy case loads, nurses are the grunts of the health care industry. They deal the most with patients. They administer the drugs. And they hold your life in their hands.

Occasionally that power is abused. History is littered with nurses known by some as Angels of Mercy — health care professionals who take it upon themselves to put a patient out of his or her misery. Anne Grigg-Booth is one of the best known modern examples.

09.Laila Ali, a True Fighter :-

Laila Ali is the most refined and most non-criminal name on this list, but that doesn’t make her any less dangerous. Considered by many to be the greatest female boxer to ever enter the ring, Ali boasts a flawless 24-0 record with 21 wins coming by way of knock out.

10.Domino Harvey, Bounty Hunter :-

“Heads you live. Tails you die.”

That was the catchphrase of the enigmatic British model turned bounty hunter Domino Harvey. If you’ve seen the movie, you know the rough outline of Harvey’s life, but what they left out was a debilitating addiction to drugs that would ultimately take her life just months before the movie was released in 2005.

The daughter of British actor Laurence Harvey and model Paulene Stone, Domino grew up priveleged and private-school educated. At first, it seemed she might follow in her mother’s footsteps, but the 6-foot-tall unabashed tomboy with a thing for guns and violence didn’t mesh with the fashion world. She moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and worked as a ranch hand in San Diego and a volunteer firefighter near the Mexican border before training as a bounty hunter.

People usually eat a food without knowing the … in its food, such as their fat, calories or many other important things. they don’t know the risk of that, not all food is good for your health, some food will endangered your life..

Curious about the endangered foods native to your region? Check out some of these finds from the new book Renewing America’s Food Traditions. The list is broken down by foodsheds across the country, so named by the Renewing America’s Food Traditions collaborative to highlight foods that once served as ecological and cultural keystones .

1. Pacific Coast aka Acorn Foodshed

At least 62 foods are threatened or endangered in the Acorn Foodshed, according to Gary Paul Nabhan, editor of Renewing America’s Food Traditions. Among them is the California Mission olive, which, green or black, is mild and rich in oil. Thanks to the work of the Mission Olive Preservation, Restoration and Education Project there are currently two retail distributors of California Mission Olive Oil.

2. Heartland aka Bison Foodshed

Historically, the Bison Foodshed was home to fertile soil, dozens of wild, edible seeds and roots, herds of game and crops such as beans. While conservationists are still concerned about the Hutterite soup bean, which yields a thick, creamy soup base in less than an hour, it is now available in nearly a dozen outlets for purchase in small quantities.

3. Southern Appalachian Mountains aka Chestnut Foodshed

At least 74 of this region’s traditional foods are currently threatened or endangered, including the American chestnuts of Pine Mountain, Ga. It’s estimated that as many as 4 billion of the trees may have been wiped out by diseases from Asia that were introduced to eastern forests in the early 1900s. But the recent discovery of a stand of healthy chestnut trees in Pine Mountain, Ga., and the Talladega National Forest are generating optimism that trees may be able to withstand blight and possibly begin to recover.

4. Southwest aka Chile Pepper Foodshed

Sweet winter melons with juicy flesh, Santo Domingo casaba melons made their way to Mexico, and later New Mexico, in the 1500s, according to Nabhan. While the Santo Domingo Pueblo, an ethnic community near Santa Fe, N.M., has preserved the fruit’s seeds, they are endangered by the threat of flooding by reservoirs in agricultural lands and invasive weeds.

5. Atlantic Seaboard aka Clambake Foodshed

As a result of the ecological restoration of rivers, bays, beaches and coastal waters, many foods native to the Clambake Foodshed are being recovered. Among them are the quahogs of Great South Bay, a large hardshell clam species with a distinctive blue inner shell. The clam of choice for clambakes in the region for years, its yield began to decline in the 1950s due to pollution and damage to its beds caused by metal-toothed dredges.

6. Mississippi River Watershed aka Cornbread Foodshed

The Nickajack apple is said to have originated where Cherokees lived along Nickajack Creek in Macon County, N.C. A large fruit, it has a crisp white flesh that changes flavor as it ripens, becoming aromatic. It’s currently only commercially available in a handful of nurseries in the region.

7. Chesapeake Bay aka Crabcake Foodshed

The unusually named fish pepper is a two-inch long vegetable that, as it ripens, changes from white with green stripes to bright red. An African-American heirloom, it may have been the product of an experiment or a mutation of a common Serrano pepper. It was traditionally used in shellfish and fish recipes, but as contamination and over-harvesting hurt the Bay’s fish and shellfish populations, the fish pepper fell out of favor. Today there are about a dozen suppliers of the chile seeds.

8. Gulf South aka Gumbo Foodshed

A kin of the habanero chile, the datil chile pepper packs a little less heat and lots of flavor. A key ingredient in a dish called the Minorcan pilau, the chile pepper was cultivated in gardens by Minorcans, who were brought to Florida in the 1700s as indentured laborers. Its inability to store or ship well has kept the pepper restricted to the region, but three seed catalogs currently supply datil seeds to chile lovers across the country.

9. Northeastern U.S. and Eastern Canada aka Maple Syrup Foodshed

While the sugar maple still grows in six Canadian provinces and 34 U.S. states, there’s been a rapid decline of sugar maple populations and maple-syrup production quantities. This is particularly true in the Maple Syrup Foodshed, which includes the Appalachian plateau of northern Pennsylvania and New York, according to Nabhan. Changes in forest soil, drought, overtapping, heavy grazing and heavy farm machinery traffic, as well as global warming, are all to blame.

10. Upper Midwest aka Moose Foodshed

While moose are not endangered as a species, populations at the southern limits of their range are falling as temperatures rise. Northwestern Minnesota moose can’t bear the heat, causing greater die-offs during midsummer heat surges. Those that survive are also often plagued by parasites.

11. Intermountain West aka Pinyon Foodshed

Drought and a bark beetle infestation knocked back nut production by the Nevada single-leaf pinyon, and killed millions of the trees that once covered mountain slopes in Nevada, Utah and eastern California. Compounding the problem, over the years the nut came to be considered a poor man’s food and miners began cutting the trees for fuel. But today, Shoshone harvesters of the Nevada single-leaf pinyon nut are receiving close to fair trade value for nuts sold to wholesalers, and more of their product is entering the U.S. market.

12. Coastal Alaska, Northern California aka Salmon Foodshed

Although it was once declared the finest eating strawberry in America, the aromatic, juicy Marshall strawberry is incredibly hard to find today. While heavily planted on Bainbridge Island prior to World War II, the Marshall strawberry was hit by crop diseases imported from other countries. Now, thanks to the Bainbridge Island Historical Society’s Marshall Strawberry Project, the fruit is being revived.

13. Great Lakes Surrounding Region aka Wild Rice Foodshed

With a taste comparable to poultry, the American eels of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River were once prized for their high caloric value. But over-harvesting, dams and hydro-turbines hurt their populations, causing fisheries in Lake Ontario and the upper St. Lawrence to close by 2001. Recently, however, the St. Regis Mohawk tribe initiated an effort with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Tunison Biological Laboratory in New York to figure out how to revive the American eel in these waters.

Sarcosuchus imperator or sometimes we called it as Super Croc, this Crocodile lives about 110Million Years Ago. The Body Length of this Crocodile is about 11 – 13 Meters. This Crocodile might be the biggest crocodile ever,

If we See the picture below the body of this Super croc might be twice of the biggest crocodiles in nowadays. An Adult Super Croc body weight was about 8 Tons. or about 10 times bigger than the crocodiles in nowadays.

In the mid 40′s until 50′s A french Paleontolog named Alfred Felix along with his friends in the sahara expedition found many fossils of Super Croc in Niger. they found about 50% until 70% of those fossils

Sarcosuchus imperator also known as the most dangerous predator in their age. They can move very fast. about 40-60km/h that means in the Jurassic era, Super Croc not only chase their victim in the water but also in the field. they got their victim by running chase them.

Sarcosuchus (pronounced /ˌsɑrkɵˈsuːkəs/, meaning ‘flesh crocodile’ and commonly called “SuperCroc”) is an extinct genus of crocodyliform and distant relative of the crocodile. It dates from the early Cretaceous Period of what is now Africa and is one of the largest giant crocodile-like reptiles that ever lived. It was almost twice as long as the modern saltwater crocodile and weighed approximately 8 to 10 tonnes.

Until recently, all that was known of the genus was a few fossilised teeth and armour scutes, which were discovered in the Sahara Desert by the French paleontologist Albert-Félix de Lapparent, in the 1940s or 1950s. However, in 1997 and 2000, Paul Sereno discovered half a dozen new specimens, including one with about half the skeleton intact and most of the spine. All of the other giant crocodiles are known only from a few partial skulls, so which is actually the biggest is an open question.

Here is Several Pics about The Ancestor of Crocodile – Sarcosuchus imperator

Sarcosuchus Imperator Miniature

And this one was the biggest crocodiles in our modern times..
