The Man with the widest tongue in the worlds sets the new records for the World’s widest tongue in 2011 Guinness Book of records. An Australian man has won a unique place in the record books — by having the world’s widest tongue which measures 7.9cm across. In 2011 Guinness Book of records, there’s so many new bizarre records such as the World’s smallest man from Colombia, The Dog with the Longest Tongue, the world’s smallest cow and also this guy from Australia which held the title as the World’s widest tongue owner.

Jay Sloot – dubbed ‘Tongue Boy’ by pals – today found himself in the newly-released 2011 Guinness World Records book thanks to his whopping tongue.

Measuring 7.9cm (3.1 inches) wide, the 25-year-old claims his massive tongue is so strong he can even use it to lift a normal sized can of Coke.

We were going to get a few words from Jay about his record… but we guess it must be pretty tricky to talk with a tongue that size in your mouth.

Conjoined twins Ganga and Jamuna Mondal support their family with a bizarre circus act – billed as The Spider Sisters. A doctor in Chennai, India, used Viagra to save the life of a 4-month-old baby when her blood pressure spiked during an operation to correct a rare congenital heart defect.

The baby, whose name is Tanisha, was born to Subrata and Dipa Saha of Kolkata, India, in December. Cardiac surgeon K.R. Balakrishnan of Malar Hospital said Tanisha’s heart was on the wrong side of her body and had hole in it. She also had an underdeveloped right lung, which needed repairing.

Balakrishnan gave Tanisha Viagra during the risky, four-hour operation when her blood pressure rose and her blood began flowing in the wrong direction to the heart, he said.

The impotence drug Viagra was initially developed to treat high blood pressure and certain symptoms of heart disease. However, scientists discovered during trials that it also could be used to treat sexual problems in men.

A 24-YEAR-OLD man who married an 82-year-old woman in Argentina on Friday insists it is a union based on “great love” rather than money.

Reinaldo Waveqche, who has lived with his elderly lover, Adelfa Volpes, since the age of 15, said he preferred “mature women”.

Ms Volpes, a retiree who is single and has no children, said their age difference had never mattered to either of them.

“I am very pleased,” she said.

“Reinaldo is marvellous: very good, kind and educated. The age difference has never been important for us.”

Surrounded by family, friends and media, the couple made their vows in a civil ceremony because the octogenarian said she would feel “ridiculous” in a church wedding.

Mr Waveqche said their relationship, which began after the death of his mother, was based on respect and love.

Ms Volpes, a friend of his late mother, had offered him a home when he was “only a boy”, he said.

She said there had been an instant connection from the moment he moved in at 15, but it did not turn into romance until he turned 18. She confirmed that she instigated the romance.

Mr Waveqche, who is unemployed, and Ms Volpes will spend their honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro.
