Eva Uhlin the Teenagers who sufer a rare skin disease was finally recover and gain her entire face. it was a miraculous recovery of Eva Uhlin. Eva has grown back her entire face after being struck down by a rare skin disease. It was a Miracle that Eva Uhlin, 19 whose Grown Back her Entire Face after struck by a rare skin disease, Eva suffered a bizarre one-in-a-million allergic reaction to household paracetamol that left her unrecognizable.

Here is the Picture that show Eva Uhlin who has recovered from that disease

The potentially fatal condition – Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis – gripped her entire body, causing her skin to burn up and scab over before falling off. The illness left the Swede, who currently works as a waitress, lying in a hospital bed for weeks as it ran its devastating course.

Forty per cent of people who contract the disease do not survive. Now, more than four years later, Miss Uhlin is finally comfortable revealing her face to the world for the first time after completely growing back all her skin.

This is Eva Uhlin before she gain back her entire face and skin

Her nightmare began as a 15-year-old in September 2005 when she suddenly fell ill while holidaying in her home country. She was diagnosed with a fever and told to take a couple of paracetamol tablets to relieve her symptoms. But the combination of her virus and the drug created a reaction nobody could have predicted, triggering a disease that has taken Miss Uhlin years to fully recover from.

This is Eva Uhlin after the Recovery

She woke up the next day to find blisters covering her face and spreading over the rest of her body. The teenager was rushed to the University Hospital of Linkoping on September 12, where she was admitted to the burns unit.

Doctors immediately gave her morphine and applied soothing ointment to her face and chest. But her skin began to fall off on a doctor’s fingertips as he examined her eyes.

Over the next few years she lost most of the surface of her face. Parts of her chest, arms, back and stomach also fell away and she even lost her eyelashes, fingernails, toenails and some of her hair.

Miss Uhlin said: ‘It felt like something was crawling around under my skin, I was in total shock – it was like something out of a horror film. ‘I couldn’t believe what was happening, I had taken paracetamol many times before and doctors still aren’t sure why I had this extreme reaction to it on that occasion. ‘It was terrifying, because at the time they didn’t know what was wrong with me or what would happen to me. ‘When I looked in the mirror for the first time after it happened I didn’t recognise myself. ‘I’ve always been a positive person, and I didn’t let myself think about the chance that my skin would never be normal again. ‘I thought to myself – this is what has happened and now I have to deal with this. ‘As well as the pain, the affect that the reaction had on my confidence for that time was pretty terrible. I was so ashamed of the way I looked, I hated anybody to see me.’

Fifteen doctors examined Miss Uhlin in her first 48 hours in hospital. At one point during her month-long stay her mouth and lips were so badly damaged they grew together. The resulting pain meant she was unable to sleep for most of the time.

Miss Uhlin was discharged in October 2005 but had to return to hospital for regular check-ups on her skin and eyes for months. Today, she still takes eye drops twice a day and has skin remains sensitive to bright sunlight.

Professor Folke Sjvberg, who treated Miss Uhlin, said he was pleased she had made such a good recovery. He said: ‘The condition is very uncommon and it strikes only one in a million people.’When it is really bad it manifests itself in the way it had done with Eva. At its worst it covers all the skin on the body and can scab over the eyes and mouth.

‘In very basic layman’s terms the skin reacts against itself because of the allergic reaction – it is very much like a burn injury, although it does tend to heal much better. ‘It was caused by the combination of a paracetamol and a viral infection Eva was suffering from at the time.

‘It is treated like a burn with pain relief and fluid replacement, you just have to try and make the skin function properly again. ‘With this condition you have to just let it run its course because there is no way to stop it.’

The skin disease can kill and 40 per cent of sufferers do not survive the condition, due to the fact it leaves patients vulnerable to other dangerous infections.

It is also known as Lyell’s syndrome and is characterised by the detachment of the top layer of skin from the lower layers all over the body.

A muscle-bound boy has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records after performing an incredible physical stunt. Romanian Giuliano Stroe, five, has been training since the age of two in Italy – where he lives with his family – and now the hard work has finally paid off.

He was entered into the record books earlier this year after performing some impressive ‘hand-walking’ skills to a panel of judges and an astonished audience on an Italian TV show .

The exceptional pre-schooler performed the fastest ever 10m hand walk with a weight ball between his legs to the delight of the studio audience. And he has now become an internet hit after hundreds of thousands of people watched a clip of him performing the stunt on YouTube.

Father Iulian Stroe, 33, said: ‘He has been going to the gym with me ever since he was born. I always took him with me when I went training.’ He added there is no danger of the youngster harming himself, saying: ‘I have been training hard all my life myself..

Nicknamed Little Hercules, Ukrainian-born Richard could bench press 210 pounds at the age of six after undergoing a strict regime After moving to the U.S., he became a movie star, starring in Tiny Tarzan, after his fitness schedule attracted media attention.

Interviewed this year, Richard, now 16, said that he had lost interest in working out

Meet Giuliano Stroe, the world’s strongest child. Giuliano, a Romanian boy who lives in Italy with his family, has been weight training since the age of two. His dad calls him “Little Hulk”. Giuliano has a body of a trained adult man, even though he is only five years old. Intense training five days a week, two to three hours a day gave him such muscular body. He even got in the Guinness World Records.

Several months ago we have talk about the gallery of siamese twins, in that picture gallery we can see the siamese conjoined twins, Births of conjoined twins, whose skin and internal organs are fused together, are rare. Conjoined twins occur once every 200,000 live births, and their survival is anything but assured. now we have another conjoined or siamese twins case. now it’s from India.

Conjoined twins Ganga and Jamuna Mondal support their family with a bizarre circus act – billed as The Spider Sisters. The 39-year-old pair, who have two heads, three legs and four arms, are among the rarest types of twins in the world. And curious spectators flock to see them crawl insect-like across the stage in their native India for five hours a night – in return for just £26 in wages.

The cash is enough to feed their extended family of 22 for a fortnight. Jamuna says: “People are drawn to us. They think we are strange.” “We don’t go out much as we get nervous.”

Another of the sisters’ fears is being separated – after doctors warned it could be fatal.

But US conjoined twins expert Dr James Stein said they COULD survive after testing them in TV documentary Human Spider Sisters – on Discovery at 9pm tomorrow. Yet the sisters opted to stay together. Cuddling her sister, Ganga says: “The way God made us is the way we will live.”

A problem which has defeated mathematicians for almost 140 years has been solved by a researcher at Imperial College London.

Professor Darren Crowdy, Chair in Applied Mathematics, has made the breakthrough in an area of mathematics known as conformal mapping, a key theoretical tool used by mathematicians, engineers and scientists to translate information from a complicated shape to a simpler circular shape so that it is easier to analyze.

This theoretical tool has a long history and has uses in a large number of fields including modeling airflow patterns over intricate wing shapes in aeronautics. It is also currently being used in neuroscience to visualize the complicated structure of the gray matter in the human brain.

A formula, now known as the Schwarz-Christoffel formula, was developed by two mathematicians in the mid-19th century to enable them to carry out this kind of mapping. However, for 140 years there has been a deficiency in this formula: it only worked for shapes that did not contain any holes or irregularities.

Now Professor Crowdy has made additions to the famous Schwarz-Christoffel formula which mean it can be used for these more complicated shapes. He explains the significance of his work, saying:

“This formula is an essential piece of mathematical kit which is used the world over. Now, with my additions to it, it can be used in far more complex scenarios than before. In industry, for example, this mapping tool was previously inadequate if a piece of metal or other material was not uniform all over – for instance, if it contained parts of a different material, or had holes.”

Professor Crowdy’s work has overcome these obstacles and he says he hopes it will open up many new opportunities for this kind of conformal mapping to be used in diverse applications.

“With my extensions to this formula, you can take account of these differences and map them onto a simple disk shape for analysis in the same way as you can with less complex shapes without any of the holes,” he added.

Professor Crowdy’s improvements to the Schwarz-Christoffel formula were published in the March-June 2007 issue of Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society.

All of this animal listed below really has a unique shape. all of them was similar to a girls genitalia. Oops!! Maybe just people with a dirty mind who can said that this animal has a shape like a girls genitalia.

One of them was Oyster. True oysters are members of the family Ostreidae. This family includes the edible oysters, which mainly belong to the genera Ostrea, Crassostrea, Ostreola and Saccostrea. Examples include the Belon oyster, eastern oyster, Olympia oyster, Pacific oyster, Sydney rock oyster and the Wellfleet oyster.

True oysters are incapable of making gem-quality pearls, although illustrations or photographs sometimes mistakenly pair them with a gem-quality pearls.

Oyster

The common name oyster is used for a number of different groups of bivalve mollusks, most of which live in marine habitats or brackish water. The shell consists of two usually highly calcified valves which surround a soft body. Gills filter plankton from the water, and strong adductor muscles are used to hold the shell closed.
Some types of oysters are highly prized as food, both raw and cooked. Other types, such as pearl oysters, are not commonly eaten.

Worm Clam

The Common clam worm (Nereis succinea) is a widely distributed polychaete worm. It is often referred to as a ragworm or sandworm, or simply as the “clam worm”, but these terms can all refer to any one of a number of other species of the genus Nereis (or indeed to other polychaetes). The name “common clam worm” is less ambiguous, but is also sometimes used for other Neries species such as N. virens and N. limbata.

Carnivorous Anemone

Although Sea Anemones look like flowers, they are predatory animals. These invertebrates have no skeleton at all. They live attached to firm objects in the seas, usually the sea floor, rock, or coral, but they can slide around very slowly. Sea anemones are very long lived. Hermit crabs sometimes attach sea anemones to their shells for camouflage.

Conch

A conch (pronounced as “konk” or “konch”, IPA: /?k??k/ or /?k?nt?/)[1] is one of a number of different species of medium-sized to large saltwater snails or their shells. True conchs are marine gastropod molluscs in the family Strombidae, and the genus Strombus.
The name “conch” however, is often quite loosely applied in English-speaking countries to several kinds of very large snail-like shells of salt-water molluscs that are pointed at both ends. That is, a conch’s shell has a high spire and a noticeable siphonal canal. Other species often called a “conch” include the crown conch Melongena species; the horse conch Pleuroploca gigantea; and the sacred chank or more correctly Shankha shell, Turbinella pyrum. None of these are in the family Strombidae, but instead in other families of the molluscs

Sea Hare

The suborder Aplysiomorpha or Sea hares (Aplysia species and related genera) are very large sea slugs with a soft internal shell made of protein. These are marine gastropod molluscs in the superfamilies Aplysioidea and Akeroidea.
The common name “sea hare” derives from their rounded shape and from the two long rhinophores that project upwards from their heads and that somewhat resemble rabbit ears.

Star Nosed Mole

The star-nosed mole lives in wet lowland areas and eats small invertebrates, aquatic insects, worms and mollusks. It is a good swimmer and can forage along the bottoms of streams and ponds. Like other moles, this animal digs shallow surface tunnels for foraging; often, these tunnels exit underwater. It is active day and night and remains active in winter, when it has been observed tunnelling through the snow and swimming in ice-covered streams. Little is known about the social behavior of the species, but it is suspected that it is colonial.

Colugo Monkey

This is a colugo. According to a Berkeley University article, this “‘flying’ lemur of Malaysia is the champion of all gliding mammals, able to drop from the forest canopy, glide more than the length of two football fields, execute 90-degree turns and then alight gently on a tree trunk.”

Giant Clam

The giant clam, Tridacna gigas, or traditionally, pa’ua, is the largest living bivalve mollusk. One of a number of large clam species native to the shallow coral reefs of the South Pacific and Indian oceans, they can weigh more than 200 kilograms (440 pounds), measure as much as 1.2 metres (4 feet) across, and have an average lifespan in the wild of 100 years or more.[1] They are also found off the shores of the Philippines

Mussel

The common name mussel is used for members of several different families of clams or bivalve molluscs, from both saltwater and freshwater habitats. The one thing that these different groups have in common, is that they have a shell whose outline is somewhat elongated and asymmetrical compared with that of many other edible clams, the shells of which are often more or less rounded or oval in shape.
The word “mussel” is most frequently used to mean the edible bivalves of the marine family Mytilidae, most of which live on exposed shores in the intertidal zone, attached by means of their strong byssal threads (”beard”) to a firm substrate. A few species (in the genus Bathymodiolus) have colonized hydrothermal vents associated with deep ocean ridges.

Cuttlefish are marine animals of the order Sepiida belonging to the Cephalopoda class (which also includes squid, octopuses, and nautiluses). Despite their common name, cuttlefish are not fish but molluscs. Recent studies indicate that cuttlefish are among the most intelligent invertebrate species.
